PSW METALS Ltd operates from 15000 sq ft site based at Westbury on Severn in the Forest of Dean. Prior to April 2000 the company traded as PSW Metals for some 12 years. PSW has in-house facilities for handling, pre-processing and ultimate trading of the product from electronic scrap. This material is principally precious metal bearing, however the business actively trades in other high value and specialist metals. Material is sourced from among others the Ministry of Defence, telecommunications and computer industries. Material is procured from all areas of the precious metal industry, from other traders, semi-refiners, multi-nationals and other Government institutions.The core business of PSW is printed circuit boards, connector and complex plastic precious metal bearing scrap. Pre-processing entails power assisted tear down of complete electronic equipment and granulation or pulverisation of the resulting precious metal bearing material. The company holds current registrations in respect of controlled waste and brokerage and are able to produce certificates of destruction should they be required. PSW can also offer a complete and comprehensive audit trail from source to ultimate end refinery.Certificates of Disposal state that material received under your direction for destruction is disposed of in a correct and environmentally secure manner as agreed.

Wherever possible PSW will actively seek to offer procurement of material from its customer on a tel-quel basis. This means that the price of the scrap offered is usually agreed between buyer and the purchaser prior to collection and/or delivery to PSW facility at Grange Court.The value may be determined by sample evaluation or historical information relevant to the material on offer, always by negotiation. On receipt material is weighed and agreement on quality and weights are established.No onward process, refining or treatment will be undertaken until this mutual agreement is confirmed.
