PROTRADE STEEL CO. was founded in 1994 as a ferrous scrap brokerage company by Jack Kessick who was later joined by several former executives of leading domestic scrap firms. In 2005, ProTrade reached a milestone trading a volume of over one million tons with over $250 million in revenue. The firm has grown steadily since its inception and has continued to increase its presence by adding several brokerage offices and diversifying into scrap operations. In 2008 ProTrade entered into an agreement with Interseroh AG, one of the leading scrap recyclers in Europe, to help increase our footprint and knowledge base in an ever-expanding global market.ProTrade Steel represents a true independent brokerage firm.
