By getting older vehicles off the road we are reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality. By diverting scrap metal from ending up in our local landfills, we are reusing our most valuable resources and cleaning up our environment. We process ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal so it can be reused by steel mills and foundries around the world in new finished steel and other metal products.

Services

ProMetal has a large inventory of recycling equipment to service a variety of different projects. We have multiple excavators with shear, grapple, and magnet attachments for the demolition and cleanup of decommissioned oilfield/industrial sites. Other equipment includes car flatteners, balers, loaders, skid steers, multiple trucks, trailers, bins, and containers.

Other specialized equipment such as the 580 Al-Jon Baler is capable of processing materials from bulky loose scrap and white goods to full size cars and trucks. To ensure a steady shipment of flattened cars, cube metal, HMS#1 and 2, ProMetal has relationships with over 600 different feeder yards throughout Western Canada. Our experienced, safe, and knowledgeable staff along with new and well maintained equipment has enabled our company to develop a very tight quality control system.
