According to the Federal Statistical Office, around 1.8 million tons of electronic waste are generated in Germany alone. This amount will continue to increase in the future and the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment waste (WEEE) will become significantly more important for the environment and the economy in Germany and Europe. An efficient return of electrical and electronic scrap waste into the economic cycle protects the environment and resources.

Since 01.09.2017, WEEE shredder residues are no longer allowed to go to China. Notwithstanding the tightening of the Asian import restrictions and with the vision of a regional and supraregional solution for the recycling of electrical (electronic) scrap waste and WEEE plastics, our company ProCycle Separations GmbH was founded in February 2016. At the Goslar location, we built a plant for processing WEEE shredders and put it into operation in June 2017. Since July 2016, Mr. Dieter Pfannenschmidt has been managing the business of ProCycle Separations GmbH.

We specialize in separating plastics and metals from complex WEEE mixtures and make them available for further material recycling so that as much of the raw materials as possible can be returned to the cycle. With our process, we make a valuable contribution to sustainable and closed cycle management.

Our company is a certified waste management company. This confirms that the waste management activities are carried out in a qualified manner by our company and that we meet the requirements of the Specialized Waste Management Ordinance.

Since 2017 we have been a member of the BVSE - Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Disposal eV Our company is certified annually by the BVSE Entsorgergemeinschaft eV. '

Our management has over 30 years of experience in the operational recycling business. Decades of industry knowledge and in-depth know-how enable us to react flexibly to the changing markets. Currently, 13 qualified people contribute to the success of our company.

ProCycle Separations GmbH is supported by a strong shareholder structure. Our shareholders in Germany and Asia have been successfully active in the fields of cable recycling and recycling of WEEE plastics for several decades and are at the company's side as competent partners.
