Pro-Tools isn’t the same company we were when we emerged from a perfect storm of passion for racing cars, expertise in metal fabrication, a tight budget, and a little elbow grease in 1989. With our past in mind, we reexamined assumptions, values, methods, policies, and practices. In an effort to be at the forefront of our industry, we took six weeks to strip the shop, clean house, and purchase new equipment. Our new philosophy centers on lean manufacturing principles, production flow, and, most importantly, continuous quality improvement. We’ve instituted technical training programs amongst the entire staff to upgrade our skills and increase our knowledge in response to changing conditions. We completely reevaluated our pricing structure. All of these changes culminate in an enhanced ability to serve and assist our customers.

 Why do we care about our customers so much? We like our tools—from die grinders, drill presses, and cold saws to computers, CNC-mills, and water jets—to be rugged and dependable, so we expect our customers want the same. During the design and manufacturing process, we work hard to give our customers a high-quality, USA-made product at an affordable price. We stand behind our product.
