I personally drove a truck as a delivery driver for many years. This was a daunting task as we traveled our of state for days at a time in very large trucks, staying in hotels many nights per week. I missed my family. And I missed much of my son's growth that I will never get back. Additionally, I would come home exhausted after long days of dollying and lifting heavy items, and driving hundreds of miles. However, I learned a lot through these difficult times… loading and unloading large trucks, managing different sized loading capacities and various sized loads, and navigating through the elements on long drives. Most importantly, it was through my experience of helping and building relationships with business owners that I was inspired start my own junk removal business.

When we formed Preacherjons Junk Removal in 2018, we did not realize it would become a ministry of its own. Many people call us in painful situations and we are able to comfort the hurting just the same as the Lord comforts us. For example, sometimes we get calls from those who have recently lost loved ones, and we are able to pray and mourn with them while helping them navigate through the difficult task of sifting through estate items. Much of what we haul away for our customers is either donated back into the community or auctioned off at local auctions. We don't believe in simply throwing away usable items.

While we do charge for our services, we operate at a non-profit level so we can simply keep the service available to those in need. I desire to help people in need, and I'm honored to help anyone who does not have the capability to haul things themselves. I have had other moving and storage companies say we charge too little, but my main goal is to help you, and I would defeat that purpose sometimes if I were to overcharge. While it's within our hearts to care and give to our customers in need, we still have business overhead costs which is why must charge for our services. Many times, entire houses need to be cleaned out before reselling. This can sometimes be a very tough task having to move a large number of items. While we could sell these items for profit like some other businesses, we try to donate as much as possible to local missionaries and organizations… our goal ultimately is to serve and provide help. Donations also save us from having to throw so much away. We are connected with many different organizations in the area who benefit greatly from the clothing, furniture, appliances, and any household items donated. They take these items and distribute them appropriately to those in need.
