Mr. Jenner has founded, built and successfully sold or merged three renewable energy development companies in the past ten years.
From 2009 to 2013 Mr. Jenner founded and was the CEO and Director of Renewable Energy Developers Inc., which was also traded on the TSX under the symbol RDZ. During this time, he led acquisitions aiming to achieve 144 MW of operating assets and 137 MW contracted development prior to a merger with Capstone Infrastructure (TSX:CSE) for ~ $235 Million Enterprise Value. From 2007 to 2009 Mr. Jenner was Senior VP and Canadian Country Senior Officer for the largest IPP in the world. Prior to 2007, he was the co-founder, CFO and Secretary of Ventus Energy Inc. before its sale to GDF Suez for ~$200 Million Enterprise Value.
Mr. Jenner has an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and has obtained the Chartered Accountants designation in 1985, as well as the Chartered Business Valuators designation in 1990. He has been on the executive committee for the Canadian Wind Energy Association for three years ended 2014, serving as Vice Chair and Treasurer
Mr. Asimakis was co-founder of Potentia and as President and Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the development and execution of corporate strategy and operations. Formerly Chief Operating Officer of Enwave Energy Corporation, he oversaw the construction and commissioning of Enwave's flagship renewable energy project, Deep Lake Water Cooling. Prior to joining Enwave, Mr. Asimakis was General Manager of Key Account Sales and Engineering at Toronto Hydro Energy Services.
Mr. van Doorn has over 17 years of construction experience in the institutional/commercial and energy infrastructure sectors. Before joining Potentia, Mr. van Doorn managed for Quanta Services the construction of 18 MW of ground mount solar farms in Ontario. He also built up and managed the electrical distribution maintenance construction department for Quanta. Earlier in his career, Mr. van Doorn founded and developed Heliotech, a private green energy producer in Quebec dealing in solar roof top installations in the institutional sector. As Vice-president of engineering he built up and managed the company engineering and construction departments. Mr. van Doorn is a past chair of the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) and was Chairman of the Board of Directors during the creation of the Ontario RESOP program. He holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Quebec and is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario.
Mr. Brimble has a strong technical background and over 17 years of experience in the power generation industry. He has had progressively senior roles in the regional management of power generating assets including solar, wind, hydro and gas facilities across North America. At Potentia, Jason manages operations and maintenance; environmental, health and safety design and performance; and, development of organizational strategic direction and progress reporting.
