PLAXTIL is the result of a research project started in 2017. Supported by the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region, ReFashion and Adème, PLAXTIL was officially launched on the occasion of the international plastics fair K2019 in Düsseldorf. . In June 2020, PLAXTIL launched the world's first circular mask recycling solution. In November 2020, PLAXTIL and KIABI communicated on the launch of the first recycled and infinitely recyclable hanger made from non-recyclable textile waste.
