Plasthill is a producer of high-quality flexible polyethylene packaging and films. In a modern factory, a continuous shift responds to your wishes. Plasthill products find their way in Europe and even beyond on a daily basis. We can produce from 50mm tube to 10m wide film by means of the blow extrusion process. Our specialty is the production of wide and thick films. With more than 60 years of experience , we also know how to solve your packaging problem!

History

Plasthill BV was founded in the early fifties of the last century. Over the years, regular investments have been made in new blown film lines and conversion machines , with an increasing emphasis on the production of industrial packaging products . A market was also built up for broad horticultural film , which has contributed to a more intensive collaboration with Oerlemans Plastics . In November 2000, this ultimately resulted in a takeover by Oerlemans Packaging BV. As a result, Plasthill became a subsidiary of the OPACK group , where at the time Perfonwas also part of it. The OPACK group now consists of Oerlemans Plastics , Perfon , Plasthill, Oosterwolde Plastic Industrie (OPI), Fardem Packaging and Flexpak .

Over the past ten years, Plasthill has further specialized in the production of technical foils. By successfully marketing TopEmBoss (embossing foil) and related products for the rubber and composite industry, Plasthill has invested further in ao a new embossing machine and a five-layer Coextruder. In addition to this development, Plasthill has also further expanded its position in the market of pallet packaging and liners. Various investments have also been made for this in both extruders and conversion machines . Plasthill has become an all-round producer of both conventional products such as shrink film , sleeves and automatic filmas well as high-quality multi-layer films and covers that can now also be provided with a fillet weld .

Plasthill BV produces and supplies a full range of specialist, flexible single and multi-layer plastic films and packaging. The market consists of business to business markets for food, non-food, packaging industry , wholesale , retail and horticultural supply worldwide. Our technology is production and trade in plastic flexible foils and packaging.

We are also a participant in the LTA3 covenant , which obliges us to reduce energy consumption.
