Our wide range of machine capabilities include cold heading, screw machining, high speed drilling, ball detenting, assembly and numerous other machining capabilities.

We manufacture with numerous materials including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and aluminum. We can provide virtually any finish that you require, including electroplating such as zinc and nickel, mechanical plating, black oxide, passivation, anodizing and more.

Our History

Pivot Point Inc. and the Leitzke family have a rich history pioneering the manufacture of fastening solutions. We trace our history back to 1929 when Rein Leitzke founded Leitzke Specialties, engaged in the manufacture of various fasteners- such as clevises, clevis pins, cotter pins, keystock and washers- used primarily in the agricultural and machine building industries. The company name was later changed to Rein Leitzke Incorporated.

Rein Leitzke proved to be an extraordinary inventor and industrialist, creating such notable inventions as the Split Washer, Automatic Couplings, Adjustable Clevis Pins, Wire Stretcher and more. His company evolved to offer ever increasing product lines and unique innovations until its sale in the 1970's.

In 1982 grandson Rue Leitzke resurrected the original company under the name Pivot Point Incorporated. While our current product line includes many of the original “agricultural fasteners”, other industrial markets for Pivot Point Non-Threaded Fastener Solutions have rapidly evolved, and Pivot Point supplies reliable fasteners for myriad industries including transportation, material handling, military and defense, aerospace, automation, medical, consumer products and more.

Pivot Point's line of fastener solutions continues to evolve in response to demand for increasingly complex and unique fasteners.
