2017 – Present

New Energy

Long time employees Michelle Bartolone and Howard Zane along with the owner’s son, Joe Walker Jr, buy Piping Supplies. Former owners, Joe and Nancy Walker, are now retired at the New Jersey Shore. The new owners, with new energy, have renewed their commitment to continually improve the business, upgrade their manufacturing equipment and add capabilities.

1986 – 2017

Things to come…

Joe and Nancy Walker start Piping Supplies Inc in their new building at 18 E. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown (Borough of Folsom), NJ. The primary product line in 1986 was still carbon steel and stainless steel commercial pipe flanges. This period saw the introduction of CNC (computer controlled) machines to the manufacturing process. As more CNC machinery was added, the focus of the company shifted away from just commercial flanges into more technical products for the Navy and custom machined items.

The Beginning

Joe Walker and partners start West Jersey Manufacturing in Williamstown, NJ. They grew the business into one of the largest flange machining operations on the East coast. The partnership broke up in 1986.
