Philippine Metals' owns more than 11,000 hectares of land that includes numerous historical workings, an historical mining district and a non NI 43 101 compliant resource of 40.0 million mT with average grades of 0.5 percent Cu and possibly 0.5 g/T Au. 

The company is managed by a team with world-class experience in mineral exploration discovery and mine development as well as a strong financial track record with public companies. Its activities within the Philippines are carried out through its wholly-owned subsidiary Pacific Metals Corp.

Philippine Metals completed a Reverse Takeover ("RTO") with New Meridian Mining Corp., (TSXV: NWC.H) and, on April 7, 2010, began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "PHI"
