Recycling farm waste since 2009
Peter Allison started his company in 2009 after noticing that thousands of tonnes of carrot cover was landfilled in the UK every year as there was no way to recycle it due to the level of contamination.
After 3 years of research and development, he came up with a method to clean the polythene which allowed it to be accepted into UK factories to be pelletised and manufactured into pit liners, refuse sacks and plastic lumbar.
All polythenes are in a closed loop – recycled and used again in the UK.
Peter also branched out to collect and recycle most types of farm waste including cardboard, chemical drums, fertiliser bags, silage wrap and fuel tanks.
