History

In the early 1980s, the Ordelmans family started producing interlayers for the meat processing industry. A company is founded under the name of Namsos (place in Norway) and space is rented from the local contractor. At the end of the 1980s, Namsos changes hands and it is decided to build a new building. In 1991 the new location was taken into use and the name of the company was changed to Perfon BV (Per = Perforeren, Fo = Foil, N = Namsos).

At the end of the nineties Perfon BV has outgrown the pioneering phase and there is a need for a strong partner to be able to realize further growth. In 1999 Perfon BV is taken over by the Oerlemans Packaging Group . Since that time, significant investments have been made in new machines and the construction of a new warehouse. Today, Perfon BV is a well-organized company with state of the art machinery with which it can serve its customers excellently, now and in the future.

Perfon BV produces and supplies a full range of specialist, flexible single and multi-layer plastic films and packaging. The market consists of business to business markets for food , non-food , packaging industry, wholesale, retail and horticultural supply worldwide. Our technology is production and trade in plastic flexible foils and packaging.

Sustainable production is therefore of paramount importance. Environmental plans are drawn up annually. We are also a participant in the LTA3 covenant , which obliges us to reduce energy consumption.

Since Perfon BV sells more and more of its products to the food industry , its customers must be able to fully trust that everything is done that the products are produced under one hundred percent consumer-safe conditions , whereby at least the legal provisions in this regard are complied with.
