Founding The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit environmental organization, was founded in 1939 by a group of concerned citizens in the Philadelphia area who were concerned with the proliferation of billboards and other forms of roadside.PRC relies on many partners to make our programming possible. Without their generous contributions and direct support PRC could not present its many award winning programs and important resources. We thank all of those foundations, corporations, governments and individuals who empower PRC to be of benefit to all Pennsylvanians.PRC is led by an all volunteer Board of Directors who represent a diverse group of industries, geographies and personal interests. Board members guide the work of PRC and ensure the organization continues to protect the resources of Pennsylvania for future generations. Board members serve two year terms.
