We believe that all IT equipment, dead or alive has a use, especially when the equipment can be refurbished and reused to the betterment of others.
Professional IT Services & Technology Consulting
Reusing unwanted IT equipment and the prevention of unnecessary e-waste ending up in landfills is at the core of our ethos. We believe that all IT equipment, dead or alive has a use, especially when the equipment can be refurbished and reused to the betterment of others.
Our main goal is to assist developing nations to equip their institutions such as Schools, Colleges and Universities to aid them in their mission to teach and develop their students, helping pave the way for the next generation. We also wish to provide a level of self-sustainability within the electronics industry, by refining the scrap metals commonly found within the e-waste sector, reprocessing them, and restocking the manufacturers with these minerals.
Our secondary goal is to provide cost-effective IT solutions and Data Destruction Services for the public and small to medium size businesses.
We will not bog you down with technobabble or confusing acronyms. Our no-nonsense approach is designed to give you peace of mind.
A word from our founder
My passion for IT and electronics started back in the 1980s when I received a Sinclair Spectrum 128k for my 6th birthday. I can remember the moment almost as if it were yesterday, that new electronics smell, the screeching sound of the tape drive loading my very first game (Arkanoid). I can also recall the feeling of confusion, the underlying need to understand how this machine worked. This began my journey that has lasted over 3 decades, the constant consumption of knowledge in one of the fastest growing industries in the world and this is where my concern grew.
With the research and development of IT Technologies progressing at an exponential rate, I realised the shocking reality first-hand at how we take these technologies for granted. The use and consumption of consumer electronics are at an all-time high, and we are removing more and more precious materials from the planet on a daily basis, thus creating more pollution than ever before to help feed this ever-demanding market.
So, before you decide to throw away that old laptop you have sitting in the cupboard, your tablet with the broken screen or the computer gathering dust in the corner, please contact us. We will collect them free of charge, whether it be from a residential address, an industrial unit or even a large office. Using our ethical business model, we will aim to refurbish and reuse as much of the equipment as possible and if the goods are broken beyond repair, we will strip them right down to the electrical components and recycle as much as we can. We aim to only dispose of items that cannot be recycled or reused.
