PDP is mainly a manufacturer of specialized material handling equipment. This includes belt type conveyors, vibratory feeders, batch type feeders, bucket elevators, storage bins, and also various types of air system separators. PDP can supply the design, engineering and fabrication for these items as well as the installation of a complete system for all industries.

Mike Potter has 30+ years experience owning and operating a business providing these services successfully. We have full time engineers, 20 full time shop employees, and 20 full time field service employees. We will travel to any job-site and will offer 24/7 service if the project requires this type of attention.

Our facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee is 30,000 sq/ft with overhead cranes and rail access. We have computerized plasma capability with all the latest software, 10ft x 300 ton capacity computerized press brake, 10 ft x 250 ton computerized plate roll, automated punch press, CNC drill line for all structural shapes, 6 ft x 10 ft water jet table, structural shot blast machine with a 24″ x 48″ opening and up to SP-10 finish and 4.0 surface profiles, and a large powder coating area for long lasting paint cover.

In the past 5 years the scrap metal industry has been our main focus, including the design, fabrication and installation of over 15 full shredder plants that included the Ferrous and Non-Ferrous systems. These plants ranged from 60 tons/hr to over 300 tons/hr of auto shred. PDP has developed and manufactured several types of machines used in the scrap metal industry. PDP can supply the overall general arrangement layout drawings for a complete system along with detailed shop drawings for all provided components.
