PDM was once part of the Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel Company, a nationwide American steel fabrication company involved in some of US’ most astounding monumental construction projects, including the Saint Louis Arch (fabricator and erector) and the World Trade Center.Safety is a team effort and core value at PDM. Our stringent high quality standards are achieved, maintained and measured through our ISO 9001:2008 Certified FPSS facility, our ISO 9001:2015 Certified Plate Processing Center and a quality assurance program throughout the balance of our operations. Additionally, our practice of first article inspections on all processing orders and load verifications prior to departures allow us to consistently deliver our customers high quality steel products when and where they need it. PDM also provides full traceability on every structural product that we carry.
