Patrick J. Kelly Drums is a family owned and operated business. For over 30 years, we have strived to incorporate our core family values in every facet of our Company from employee development, our daily operations, and most importantly customer relations. The different generations have brought visionary leadership skills to our company that help maintain the trust and loyalty that our customers and employees expect. During the continual growth process of acquiring facilities, building new infrastructure and staff expansion, the core values of relationships with all involved are not lost.
Patrick J. Kelly Drums knows that certain clients have understandable liability issues with the prospect of having drums or totes that once held their products reconditioned and then sent back out into the marketplace. For these clients, PKD will wash, shred, and then grind their products into a valuable reusable raw material to be sold in the commodities market. PKD can also provide certificates of destruction for such services.
Patrick J. Kelly Drums reconditions and remanufactures Steel, Plastic, and Fibre drums of all makes and sizes as well as recondition IBC/Totes, Carbon and Stainless Steel bins both UN and non UN. We have a comprehensive waste water management system and hold all required permits to recondition in the State of New Jersey.
Patrick J. Kelly Drums is one of the largest distributers on the East Coast of new plastic drums and pails; steel and fibre drums; as well as new IBC/Totes. We represent the big three along with other specialty new manufactures. Our in house fleet of trucks and trailers along with contracted long haulers can provide nationwide service.
Our post- industrial HDPE reclamation processes for plastic drums and tote inner tanks provides a value number one regrind raw material. First we take the scrap HDPE and remove contaminants. We then shred, regrind and remove labels from the HDPE stream. Using float/sink technology we separate dirt and any remaining paper from the plastic which has been released in the washing process. We then dry the plastic using a large industrial spin dryer. This makes the HDPE ready to use for our end users.
Call us today to request a pickup of all your industrial containers. Industrial container recycling encompasses either restoring a container back into service or reducing its components into a raw material commodity. These commodities are processed in a manner adding as little of a carbon foot print as possible while generating a raw material that has the highest value to the eventual end user.
