The Papiers de l'Espoir association is above all a simple and generous idea: VOLUNTEERS collect from COMPANIES, ORGANIZATIONS, COLLECTIVITIES, used paper that has become unnecessary and cumbersome.

This collected paper is resold to companies specializing in its recycling. The funds thus released finance humanitarian and educational projects in France and in developing countries.

A ton of papers can finance, for example, 20 school books. The Papiers de l'Espoir activity (around 70 kms around Nantes) enabled in 2017 to participate and help in the education of 20,000 children.

Who are we

Papiers de l'Espoir is an Association entirely focused on its humanitarian objective: to participate in educational projects around the world because "giving an education to young people" is the only way to enable them to achieve a better future.

The second objective is to participate fully in the effort that all citizens must make to secure the future of the planet. We invite our partners to do this simple gesture: collect the paper instead of throwing it away.

The use of the paper we collect allows a significant saving of water and energy in the production of paper: nearly 200m3 of water and more than 250 liters of oil saved per tonne of paper collected ...
