The Cima family has been involved in the production of paper. It was 1757 when Giuseppe Cima took over a paper mill in Rancio di Lecco, owned by the Marquis Serponti. In 1870 Giosuè Cima, one of his heirs, founded a new paper mill in the Bonacina district. In an uninterrupted succession of enlightened family entrepreneurs, in 1956 the Cartiera dell'Adda was founded in Calolziocorte by Pino Cima and his brothers. Today the heirs Giuseppe, Lodovica and Chiara continue the great entrepreneurial project, dedicating themselves, as in the past, to the great passion for paper .
