Panhandle Disposal Service, Inc., is a commercial non hazardous Class 1 injection well which accepts non hazardous liquid waste from various off-site industrial, municipal and private sector sources, for the subsurface disposal through deep well injection into the Permian age Brown Dolomite Formation. The injection well is permitted for the disposal of non-hazardous liquids and characteristic hazardous wastes that have been treated to remove the hazardous characteristic. It is controlled by a state-of-the-art computer system.
