The Outlaw Junk Removal Story

In 2020 we visited beautiful Gillette, WY, and fell in love with the city and its people. The decision was made to move our family of eight to Gillette, so our house was placed on the market and the hunt for a new home was underway. After two trips, we found the perfect place and began preparations for the big move. I left behind a career of 15 years as Director of Security and defense instructor for large sites, and we said goodbye to our hometown.

After moving, we wanted to work for ourselves, so I posted a question for Gillette residents on Facebook. I asked if there was a demand for a junk removal company, and the response was amazing. There were over 50 comments from people encouraging me, including realtors who stated junk removal was a much-needed service. That same week, I was asked by a company to remove over 90 pallets from their property. My wife, Candra, and I made the business official (an LLC) and used our personal vehicles to remove the pallets. We then located the perfect work truck in Casper, so we ventured out and purchased our first vehicle for Outlaw Junk Removal. Since that time work has been steady and we've met some amazing and very supportive people along the way.

How did we decide on the name? We're in Wyoming, the cowboy state! We wanted something that conjures thoughts of the old west, and Outlaw stood out. Besides, I love watching westerns, so anything wild west related is awesome in my book.

We're 100% family-owned and operated, and we always deliver the type of service we hope for when dealing with other businesses. Good customer service doesn't quite go far enough; we believe in being personable and relatable. We're all part of the same community and believe in helping each other out.
