Orion Satellite Systems is an Australian owned and managed licensed telecommunications provider, specialising in tailored end to end satellite communication solutions. We offer both fixed and portable systems that can scale from very small to large dedicated systems.Founded in 2003, Orion Satellite Systems is an Australian operated company based in Perth, Western Australia where we operate our HUBS and networks. In 2014, IPStar Australia bought Orion Satellite Systems, a move which significantly enhances Orion's capabilities, providing access to teleports in Kalgoorlie and Broken Hill, offices in a number of states, and bandwidth on Thaicom 4 and other Thaicom satellites as well as access to key infrastructure in Sydney. Orion provides dedicated satellite links and develops tailored solutions for our customers across a diverse range of industries, both in Australia and internationally. Our new ownership will allow us to significantly strengthen our position throughout the region and expand our horizons.In countries such as PNG and The Solomon Islands where there is either no or very limited communication facilities, we have been able to instigate proven technical solutions by successfully developing and executing telecommunications projects in these regions. We also simultaneously pursue satellite communication opportunities in more developed markets such as Australia and New Zealand.These solutions ensure that we continually deliver quality, reliable and technically advanced communications that represent excellent value for money.
