Old Bridge Chemicals concentrates on copper chemicals, Madison Industries on zinc chemicals and Madison Chemicals on USP and FCC grades for food and pharmaceutical applications.

We are the largest manufacturer of Copper Sulfate in the United States. In addition, we are a major supplier of Copper Carbonate, Zinc Sulfate, Zinc Chloride, Zinc Orthophosphate, and Phosphoric Acid, as well as other chemical products containing copper and zinc. Our basic strategy is to focus our expertise on a handful of products while producing a variety of grades. This allows us to provide the excellent service and consistent quality our customers deserve. Copper Sulfate is used in many different industries, including animal feed, water treatment as an aquatic algaecide, dairy farming, food and pharmaceutical processing and pool chemicals. Studies have shown the efficacy of Copper Sulfate for use as an animal feed micronutrient to be equal to or greater than that of other copper compounds.

Copper Carbonate is recognized as the leading source of copper for wood preservative products. It is widely used in pressure treated lumber and various other industrial applications.

​Zinc Sulfate is an important nutritional component in animal feeds. Other applications include use in the pharmaceutical, technical and numerous industrial markets. With respect to water treatment applications, Zinc Orthophosphate is manufactured in a wide range of formulations designed to meet our customers’ specific requirements.

We also manufacture Phosphoric Acid in a wide variety of percentages and grades, including Food Grade. The various applications include: water treatment, soft drinks, food, fertilizers, semiconductors, fuel cells for batteries, cosmetics, pesticides, and anodizing.

Our products are produced from a wide variety of raw materials, including various metal-bearing materials and other assorted feedstocks, both solid and liquid. Unlike other manufacturers, this allows us to be flexible in our choice of raw materials as market conditions change. We are able to respond more efficiently to fluctuations in the supply and demand of key raw materials. We are always searching for new or different sources of raw materials. We offer our products in a large variety of grades and package types and sizes.
