The company OKORN PLAST, d.o.o. was founded in December 2016 with the desire to continue the production of plastic recycling, which until then took place in the company Motvoz in platno d.o.o. - in bankruptcy. After the bankruptcy procedure was initiated in the mentioned company, we rented the premises and the recycling line with the intention of later purchase. With production, we also took over the employees and their knowledge.

Production took place at the location of Motvoz in platno d.o.o. - in bankruptcy, Taborska cesta 23, Grosuplje 1290, until January 15, 2019, when we were forced to move to a new location due to the sale of the buildings of the bankruptcy administrator. Previously, we had already taken care of the purchase of the building in the new location and the work machines that we had on rent. Our new location is Podgorica at Šmarju 22, where we launched the production system after one month and a few days, on 24/02/2019. Prior to that, the environmental protection permit and all the necessary documentation for the processing of waste plastic was obtained.

At the same time as the move, a larger storage tent was erected at the new location, where we store all incoming waste, as well as waste from production.

Right from the start, we started upgrading the production system, and thus already in the first year of operation at the new location, we managed to ensure very good quality of regranulate and started implementing the quality management system.
