PRODUCTION SUBDIVISIONS OF POWER MACHINES OJSC
Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod (LMZ, founded in 1857) - production of turbines and auxiliary equipment for hydraulic, thermal and nuclear power plants. LMZ consists, in addition to the main production site, of three stand-alone production facilities: Turboatomgaz, Turbine Blades’ Plant production facilities and the first modern start-up facility built in the Metallostroy industrial zone of St. Petersburg and opened in 2012.
Electrosila plant (founded in 1898) – production of generators for hydraulic, steam and gas turbines, traction motors and large electric machines.
SUBSIDIARIES AND JOINT VENTURES OF POWER MACHINES OJSC
Kaluga Turbine Works OJSC (founded in 1946) – production of steam turbines of small and medium capacity.
EMAlliance PJSC (founded in 2005), including its main production asset Krasny Kotelshchik TKZ OJSC (founded in 1896) – design, production and complete set delivery of boiler island equipment for thermal power engineering. In February 2012 Power Machines OJSC completed the acquisition of 100% stake of shares of EMAlliance PJSC which owns 77.33% of ordinary shares of Krasny Kotelshchik TKZ OJSC and 100% of one of the largest European companies producing boiler and heat exchanging equipment – Duro Dakovic (Croatia).
Power Machines – Reostat Plant JSC (founded in 1960) – production of electrical equipment and traction motors.
Power Machines Toshiba High-Voltage Transformers, LLC (founded in 2011) – a joint venture with Toshiba Corporation to produce power transformers having voltage rating of 110 to 750 kV and capacity from 25 to 630 MVA. Power Machines hold 50.01% of the joint venture shares. Today works on the construction of a new plant are being carried out within the framework of this project implementation in Metallostroy industrial zone of Saint Petersburg. The plant is to be put into operation by the end of 2013. The volume of investments amounts to over 5 billion rubles. The Russian-Japanese joint venture will enable to solve the problems of comprehensive modernization of the main power grid network basing on the most advanced and innovative technologies.
Siemens Gas Turbines Technologies LLC (founded in 2011) – a joint company with the Siemens company to produce and service gas turbines. Power Machines OJSC holds 35% of the joint venture shares. The company carries out research and development of new gas turbines, localization of manufacturing in Russia, assembly, sales, project management and servicing of E and F class high-power gas turbines with a capacity ranging from 168 to 292 MW.
The Company has manufactured equipment with a combined capacity of 300,000 MW, which is installed and successfully operates in 57 countries across the world.
More than 2,300 steam turbines, 2,700 turbo-power generators, 790 hydraulic turbines and 600 hydro-power generators have been produced.
