Chris Winnes is the driving force of the company. His success in providing innovative solutions is thanks to an unusual combination of skills and experience.

OilTech-Winnes was founded in 2007 by Chris Winnes who has 14 years of experience within the oil industry and 24 years is the waste disposal environment.

Chris has spearheaded the development of new tank cleaning techniques, based on in-situ systems under focus of limited man-entry into confined spaces and maximum oil recovery.

From end 2005 to 1997 Chris served as international project manager for a British Industrial Services and Tank Cleaning Contractor,

responsible for the strategic direction and performance of tank cleaning operations in Central and Eastern Europe.

Chris assisted management teams focus on productivity, profitability, capital and funding decisions, as well as supervising overseas Industrial Services (by means of lagoon clean-up and crude oil tank cleaning) operations.

From 2000 to 2005, Chris served as international business developer in the industrial services business, focussed on a German Contractor's Tank Cleaning System and responsible internationally for marketing, business development and corporate affairs functions.

From 1988 to 2000, Chris served as key account manager for a private contractor for the US Forces in Europe and organised the hazardous waste removal and disposal business.

OilTech-Winnes is committed to contribute to the global environment by offering equipment and process design, as well as engineering and consulting services to the oil spill market on a commercial basis. Profitability, safety and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand when OilTech-Winnes  solutions are implemented, with 'zero waste to landfill' becoming a reality not a pipe dream.

We do not understand ourselves simply as equipment/component or "hardware" seller. This, you can get over the internet the easiest and most probably the cheapest. What we can offer you is as well our experience and knowledge how to apply the purchased technology in the field, in front of your clients by means of hiring/contracting as well experienced labour which will – after the commissioning – also train your company’s engineers to take over all operations after a specific time (up on your choice). OilTech-Winnes are fully independent and focused on the improvement of your operations; we are not competing with equipment sellers but we recommend the best and leave the rest – that’s the difference and so I hope this explains our position a bit better.
