Ohio Steel Industries, Inc., founded in 1958 by three individuals with diverse interest and backgrounds, began business with one employee, operating principally as a structural steel fabricator, in a 25,000 square feet facility in Columbus, Ohio. Our market and delivery area then was the central Ohio area. Our company today operates in multiple facilities of more than 300,000 square feet providing contract manufacturing, manufactured lawn and garden product, plastic extrusion, and structural steel fabrication services throughout the world.
Our ISO 9001:2008 registered OSI Plastics business is a recognized leader in plastic extrusion marketplace.
We are experienced craftsmen providing extrusion services across a broad array of polymer materials. We provide "complete product" extrusion services including in-line and secondary operations, cutting, bending, notching, drilling, punching, assembling, and packaging. OSI Plastics extrudes polymers profiles for widely recognized publicly traded and privately held brand names throughout the United States and Europe. We are the people behind those brand names.
