Oertel (Or-tell) formed in 1988 by talented craftsmen who produced fabrication solutions with unmatched quality. Since then, Oertel’s capabilities and expertise have expanded. From two men in a small shop to our 36,000 square feet facility with more than 30 employees. We make sure your job is done the right way, on time, the first time. Our custom fabrications are quality assured every step of the way.  The Oertel Way  We maintain Material Test Reports (MTRs) on all metals used in our products. We also take all steps necessary to ensure that your product is delivered to you in the same condition it left our facility. If a problem arises during any step of the process, Oertel works with you to make it right.

Our experience, dependability, and vision have given us the opportunity to work for customers in the mining, rail car, food service, recycling, machining, and material handling industries. However, we are open to working with anyone in any industry who needs a custom metal fabrication.  We have extensive experience in the fabrication of safety and guarding solutions, handrails, spouting, conveyors, and machinery as well as stairs and platforms for industrial clients. We have two automated plasma cutters and plate rolling and forming capabilities.
