OctoFab was founded in 2017 by Kasey Minor and Kay Sims. Octofab was created on the professional values learned from almost 10 years of combined experience in the welding industry. The drive to complete projects quickly and efficiently, creative problem solving, and the fierce pride in the quality of their work are the values that motivate Kasey and Kay's business.

Kasey has extensive welding experience in the ship building and repair industry. He is experienced in a wide range of materials, material thicknesses, welding processes and the welding of pipe and plate in all positions. Kasey is a versatile fabricator that has designed and built everything from bumpers and racks for overland and off-roading vehicles to creatively designed furniture.

Kay is a Certified Welding Inspector who has experience in the inspection of commercial and residential structural steel, and in the shipbuilding industry. She has worked as a special inspector, a welder, and a welding instructor's teaching assistant. She enjoys making creative metal art projects for her home and garden.
