O2Saving was born in October 2009 from the initiative of the two founding members who brought to the company the wealth of knowledge gained from previous experiences in the field of technological and logistical innovation applied to the furniture industry.
The O2Saving project involves the storage, selection and treatment aimed at recovering WEEE waste (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

The so-called WEEE (old computers and household appliances, disused electronic equipment and electrical appliances to be thrown away) can provide a source of materials first of second generation, if recycled and reused. With potentially enormous economic and environmental benefits.

Since November 2007, the waste management system from electrical equipment regulated by Legislative Decree 151 of 2005 has officially come into force in Italy, the responsibility of which is entrusted directly to the Producers, as required by the European Directive (2002/96/EC).

Legislative decree 25 July 2005, n. 151 was approved and implemented in Italy the community legislation on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), contained in Directive 2002/96/EC, as amended by the subsequent 2003/108/EC.
The directive aims to ensure that each member country implements a system for the collection, treatment and recovery of all electrical and electronic equipment that has reached the end of its life:
 

Driven by the European Directive which establishes the 4Kg objective for Italy and on the prospects of the WEEE Coordination Center which expects to reach 150,000 tonnes of hi-tech material waste in 2009, more than double compared to 2008, O2Savings will become a logistically advantageous processing platform for all Trentino areas.

O2Saving presents itself on the recycling market by making available the best recycling systems and technologies coordinated by a young and dynamic team with consequent positive effects on employment.
