James and Pearl Nuhn started the original family business in Williamsford in 1956. They raised their family of 6 and continued their growing business.  James and Pearl became very well known in the community and enjoyed working and having their family close.

Hugh Nuhn the oldest of 6 children decided to purchase the family business from James in 1987.  With family by his side Hugh began his journey as the new owner/operator.  Hugh and family seen the struggles with business and brought in the era of computors,cell phones and 20th century technology.

Timothy Nuhn, James' youngest son took over Nuhns Auto in September 2011.  Tim still with family supports is finding yet another new era of business change.  Environment enforcement and technology have changed the image of auto wrecking to auto recycling. From used parts to quality recycled.  The changes are happening very quickly in todays society.  Being green is the target that we are trying to achieve.

With all the changes; you will see in modernizing of buildings to the restructuring of vehicles Tim is striving to meet the quality of a Family Business structure the way it is suppose to be.
