Our main mission is to protect the environment - we process waste paper and corrugated cardboard into new products. By recovering the waste, we preserve valuable natural resources, reduce the amount of landfilled waste and environmental pollution.

We do not use any chemicals in our production and that is why the papers and fluting produced by us are 100% environmentally friendly.

Iskar Book Factory is one of the oldest operating enterprises to this day on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. Put into operation in 1937, it is one of the most modern for its time. Writing and printing papers, cellulose and wood pulp, are produced here: sawn 45-50 g / sq.m .; mitelfine 60 g / sq.m. with a composition of 60-65% wood pulp, 10% paper waste and 25-30% cellulose / unbleached sulfite /.

The factory produces a very wide range of special papers, such as xerographic paper, cartographic paper, heliographic paper, wallpaper, special passport paper, coupon paper, watermark paper, inkjet paper for paper bags, cable paper amber paper cable , asphalt paper, etc ..

After nationalization, during the socialist era the factory was developed as a leading enterprise in the industry. High quality papers continue to be produced here.

Resisted the historical vicissitudes., In 1997. has been restituted and privatized.

Today, in order to meet the modern economic conditions, Iskar Book Factory produces various types of wrapping paper / wrapping paper / and fluting, by recycling waste paper and corrugated cardboard.
