Norwalk Wastewater Equipment Company (Norweco) is a manufacturer of water and wastewater treatment products, systems and chemicals. We specialize in small-flow treatment applications, ranging from municipal treatment systems for small towns and villages, all the way down to systems for the individual family home. Our products are designed to provide a high level of treatment in the most efficient, cost-effective manner.

Community Involvement
As citizens of the global environmental community, we bring awareness to public health issues by being active members of the American Decentralized Wastewater Association, NSF International Joint Committee, the Department of Health Ad Hoc Committee, the National Environmental Health Association, the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association, the National Precast Concrete Association and the National Rural Water Association.
As citizens of our local communities, we have been pleased to donate our time and financial support to our public and parochial schools, universities, their booster groups, area Scout troops, local facilities for the handicapped, churches, hospitals, Jaycees, youth camps, the Domestic Violence Shelter, the Volunteer Center, Project Fire Safety House, the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Clothe-A-Child, Toys for Tots, Easter Seals, Special Olympics, March of Dimes, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the American Cancer Society, the USO, and The United Fund. As a manufacturer of hazardous materials, we have coordinated and implemented emergency response drills with local officials in order to promote community awareness and public safety. Our involvement with area chambers of commerce has helped the development of our local businesses and neighborhoods.
We actively support The Food Bank Capital Campaign in their efforts to abolish world hunger. We have helped such organizations as NASA, the Atomic Energy Commission, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Army Corps of Engineers, FHA, the Department of Defense, the U.S. Air Force, Newport News naval shipyard, the National Park Service, the Navajo Tribe, the USAID Office, the World Health Organization and the International Red Cross with solutions for their diverse water and wastewater treatment needs.
Our systems have been donated to help refugees in the Balkans, used in the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa to kill parasites that cause blindness and protected victims of hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and revolutions in the Caribbean, Central America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. They are being used in the rebuilding and infrastructure repair efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq. From protecting international victims of natural disasters or civil unrest, all the way down to educating children about fire safety at a local level, we care about and are involved with all of the communities in which we live.
