Norco Manufacturing Corporation was founded in Racine, Wisconsin U.S.A. in 1962 by the inventor and entrepreneur, Norman Peterson. An accomplished aviator, Peterson knew his way around airplane hangars and sought an easier way to operate their heavy doors.
