NLL Recycling services municipalities, companies and individuals with recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in Newfoundland and Labrador. The main role of NLL Recycling is to supply an alternative for the recycling of ferrous (steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, stainless steel, lead, copper, brass, zinc) metals. The recyclable materials are recycled into raw materials for the steel and foundry industry. NLL utilizes world-class proprietary technology to recycle metals and operates according to the highest environmental standards and adhering to the stringent regulations imposed by the new Waste Management Regulations Strategy.
The current main processing centre is at Robin Hood Bay in St. John’s. This is an environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art metal recycling facility. The company plans to build additional satellite metal recycling facilities around the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
We are training and employing local people to use state of the art equipment. First of its kind in the province, if not the country.
NLL Recycling will do all primary and secondary processing within the province to maximize jobs and opportunities. Traditionally the secondary processing has been done outside the province. We will also ship directly to the world markets from ports within the province.
