The company formerly known as "Soudure Denis Bergeron" has grown significantly in the past 20 years mainly because of its founder's creativity. This development led to the company's current specialization, steel structures designed for industrial and commercial buildings.
With this new specialization came another change. In 1981, the company became known as “Nico Metal Inc.”.
Nico Metal is also certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB), W47.1 division 1 and also by the American Institute Steel Construction (AISC), Complex Steel Building Structures.
History
Nico Metal is a member of several recognized associations in the steel-fabrication industry. The company became a member of The Steel Plus Network in 1995. This business network offers a wide selection of innovative services that increase its members' competitiveness and sales.
Expansion
Because of the continuous development of our company, many investments were required as well as two expansions. Nico Metal’s main plant has grown from 3,000 to 13,000 square feet. In January 2002, the company relocated to Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. Our facilities now have a total area of 50,000 square feet.
Geographical Location
Nico Metal is located in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec (Canada), a city that is halfway between Montreal and Quebec City and close to major highways and a seaport. A section of highway 40 delimits part of our land, facilitating shipping of non-standard size pieces.
