About Company

Established in 1990, New Leaf has grown to be one of London's premier recycling companies.
Currently, we collect from over 400 customers and recycle nearly 100 tonnes of waste paper and electronic equipment a month.

We pride ourselves on a reliable and efficient service at competitive rates.

Our aim has always been to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. Every scrap of waste paper we collect is sent to a paper mill to be turned into recycled waste paper or tissue. Electronic waste is either refurbished or fully recycled into its component parts for re-use.

We are licenced by the Environment Agency as a registered waste carrier.

New Leaf can help your organisation recycle many types of waste
We collect office waste paper, printer toner cartridges and most electronic equipment including computers, monitors, printers, photocopiers and TVs.

Our security shredding service will ensure your confidential documents or electronic data are securely destroyed.

Whether you require a few boxes collected or a warehouse cleared of all its contents, New Leaf can help.

Services

Recycling services includes:

We collect the following types of waste for recycling or environmental disposal:
White, coloured and mixed grades of office waste paper, Cardboard, Archive material, Computers, monitors, PC’s and laptops, Printers, scanners, faxes and photocopiers, Cables, mice, keyboards and peripherals, Stereos, TV’s, VHS and DVD players, Laser and inkjet toner cartridges

Waste paper recycling:

saves energy and prevents a valuable resource from being needlessly dumped.
All types of paper can be recycled, although market demand for waste paper varies making certain grades more economically viable to collect.

Waste Paper Recycling – what we collect
Our low cost office paper recycling scheme allows you to save white and coloured letterhead and copier papers. We usually ask for a minimum of ten sacks for each collection, but there is no time limit on how often we collect.

If you wish to have other types of paper collected for recycling – we can arrange to collect large quantities of leaflets and magazines or remove any quantity of archive waste paper from your storage area. For details on confidential waste disposal see our link to security shredding.

Waste Paper Recycling – what we supply
When you recycle with us, we supply tough re-usable sacks free of charge. They are white and measure 65 cm by 100 cm. Our range of recycling bins and containers will help you save waste paper more effectively.

Electronic Equipment Recycling:

In today's business environment, computers and printers rapidly become obsolete and the low cost of new equipment results in little effort being made to repair or upgrade existing equipment.

Electronic equipment – what we collect
New Leaf is able to provide a recycling service for most types of redundant IT equipment. This includes computers, monitors, printers, telephone equipment and photocopiers.

All equipment will either be refurbished by our computer technicians or dismantled for spares or recycling. Any data on hard drives of PC’s, servers or laptops is securely destroyed to DOD standards and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Toner Cartridge Recycling:

Recycling empty toner and inkjet cartridges is an environmentally friendly service. It is important in reducing waste and ensuring that toner residues are disposed of carefully.

Recycling toner cartridges – what we collect
Most laser printer and inkjet cartridges.

We try to recycle as much as possible although there are some items which we are unable to collect. In particular, photocopier toner bottles, printer ribbons and those cartridges that have already been recycled.

Recycling cartridges – storage
Empty cartridges should be put back in the boxes they came supplied in. This will protect them during transit and storage. To save space, most will fit two to a box.

Recycling cartridges – collections
We can collect when you have a minimum of twenty cartridges. If you are in our collection area and the cartridges are suitable for recycling, the service is provided completely free of charge.

For those organisations already recycling with us, we can pick up any cartridges you have at the time, with no minimum quantity. For organisations who are not existing customers, we can only collect a minimum of twenty cartridges.

Confidential Document Shredding:

New Leaf offers a high quality and economic disposal service for your confidential documents. ‘Certificates of secure disposal’ are issued once the paper has been shredded or pulped. All the paper is ultimately sent for recycling which benefits the environment.

Security shredding – the service
New Leaf can handle any type of paper, in any quantity, from a few bags to large warehouse clear-outs. We supply tough, specially marked sacks (60cm by 90cm) with security tags, to ensure the safe handling of your confidential documents.

Any type of paper can be put in the sacks but plastic or metal (excluding paperclips and staples) should be kept out. Sacks containing plastic or metal can be shredded but will be charged at a slightly higher rate.
