MyReplast Industries is a company of the Maire Tecnimont Group, controlled by NextChem and located within the “Circular Economy” cluster in the roadmap for the energy transition. It operates in the recycling of plastic waste through the use of a technology owned by the Group capable of separating the different polymers present in the waste and obtaining, through an optical selection phase (by polymer and by color) and compounding , high quality granules that can replace virgin plastic in various application sectors.

MyReplast Industries exercises complete and rigorous control in all stages of processing: from programming of inputs, to checking on incoming materials, to subsequent processing, giving plastic waste a second life as Secondary Raw Materials (MPS).

MyReplast ™ products are EuCertPlast and Plastic Second Life certified.

MyReplast Industries deals with selected types of plastic waste coming mainly from industrial post-consumption to make a final product capable of bridging the gap in quality between recycled and virgin plastic. The entire production process is managed by a plant, currently classified among the most advanced in Europe, located in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The plant is capable of generating around 40,000 tons of recycled polymers per year.

MyReplast Industries is based on an economically sustainable business model, without resorting to public incentives. It produces high quality and environmentally friendly recycled polymers with the proprietary MyReplast ™ technology marketed by NextChem.

The purity and quality of the new recycled plastic

The products of MyReplast Industries, unlike the classic recycled, have chemical-physical characteristics and mechanical properties similar to those of virgin polymers of fossil origin. This innovative approach is called “Upcycling”.

MyReplast ™ technology has some fundamental characteristics:

• It has a high flexibility that allows to treat various types of plastic waste, both from industrial post-consumer sources (such as drums, platforms, car components) and from urban post-consumption.

• Due to its high efficiency, the technology makes it possible to recover up to 95% of incoming plastic materials

•Guarantees high quality of finished products by combining mechanical recycling and chemical treatment, allowing the production of high purity and quality plastic.

The performances of MyReplast ™ products are “tailor-made”, because through a formulation and compounding phase it is possible to obtain specific results based on the customer's needs.
