The Multiform™ technology can be easily integrated into the existing plant infrastructure and is able to reduce phosphorus levels in wastewater by over 80%, and nitrogen levels by up to 20%.
MultiWAS™
MultiWAS™ is a group of technologies offered by Multiform Harvest Inc. (Multiform™) for integrating two processes into the side streams of wastewater treatment plants. One of the two processes – struvite crystallization – is also a technology developed by and offered by Multiform™.
The other process – stripping and release of phosphorus (P) from waste-activated sludge (WAS) – has been well documented in literature devoted to the wastewater industry, beginning in the 1960s or earlier – and is thus publically available for use.
