Morrow Steel began as Copeland Steel Erectors, Inc. in 1970 under the ownership of Frank D. Copeland. D. William Morrow, a lifetime member of the Ironworker’s Union, came to work for Frank in 1972, and after 22 years of working in every facet of the business purchased the company upon Frank’s retirement in 1994.
The company has grown significantly under Bill Morrow’s leadership, he has broadened it’s reputation as an exemplary steel erector, while increasing it’s fabrication capabilities through experience and state of the art equipment.
Morrow Steel Fabricators, Inc., which has received quality certification from The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), operates out of a 45,000 sq ft facility located on approximately ten acres of land in Pasco County, Florida. The facility consists of a structural steel shop, a handrail shop, and an extensive paint yard.
Morrow Steel Erectors, Inc. is rapidly approaching forty years of service. During those four decades, Morrow Steel has relied on the professionalism and skills of Union Ironworkers to man its projects. The project list includes power houses, correctional facilities, sports complexes, high rises, chemical plants, schools, and hospitals throughout the Southeastern United States.
