Mississippi Steel Processing, LLC is a company committed to service excellence in toll processing, storage and logistics and first-stage fabrication of hot band and HRPO.Our location adjacent to Steel Dynamics Columbus and close to other mills, makes us the processor of choice for steel distributors and mill-direct customers throughout the South.Our state-of-the-art facility handles a wide range of steel, up to 90,000 lb coils and 5/8" thick and our cut-to-length leveling line turns out sheets to 84" wide by 70' long. MSP was Set  up by guys who have worked in the steel industry their whole lives and put down local roots to build their dream. We're not  a division of a multinational firm or a new gambit by some private equity fund. We're in steel processing because it's what  we know, what we love and what we're really good at.That last item  often trips up companies who are not "problem solvers" at heart. MSP leaders understand the need to look beyond the customers' order sheet to investigate how they use their steel, what  their inventory  turns are, their most  frequent causes of rejects, etc. Using that  knowledge, we'll  devise a new program for  JIT  inventory and logistics, for first stage fabrication of  parts, for special protective  treatment or packaging of lifts or coils.
