Midtown Lumber is one of New York City’s oldest lumber stores. For 55 years our reputation for excellent service, accurate cutting, and prompt deliveries has helped us remain a reliable source for contractors, apartment owners and local businesses.

We stock many products in our store on W 25th Street between 7th and 8th Ave. Our new location in Jersey City will house overflow and deliver large orders to NYC daily.

History

Midtown Lumber was recently purchased in January 2017 and will keep the business model established in 1962 by Paul J. Kopf along with his brother Larry Kopf and Paul’s son Michael Kopf, focusing on customer satisfaction. The historical building was originally a horse stable and then used as a warehouse for the West Side Lumber Co.

Now under new ownership and over 55 years old, Midtown Lumber remains a mainstay in Chelsea and the surrounding areas promptly filling its customer needs of all sizes.
