MGG Polymers offers its customers the opportunity to respond to the growing market demand for more sustainable products
The plant is one of the most advanced plastics recycling facilities in the world, with an area of approximately 20,000 m² and a capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year. The plant operates around the clock and offers its customers a sustainable and consistent supply of high-quality Post-Consumer-Recycled (PCR) polymers.
This plant produces high-quality post-consumer recycling (PCR) ABS, HIPS, PP and PC/ABS plastic resins from waste electrical and electronic equipment. These PCR resins are REACH and RoHS compliant and are used for a wide range of durable goods and "green" products, such as new electronic devices and automotive or office equipment, to just name a few of the applications.
In 2017 the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group acquired all shares and MBA Polymers Austria was renamed MGG Polymers. The raw material source consists of mixed plastics from waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
MGG Polymers is based in Kematen an der Ybbs in Austria and was founded as a joint venture between the American MBA Polymers Inc. and the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group. The MGG Polymers recycling plant started its commercial operations in 2006.
MGG Polymers has set itself the goal of converting plastics from End-of-Life Electronics into high-quality tech polymers. This conserves limited natural resources, reduces pollution of our environment and makes a significant contribution to making the future better for all people.
