Industrial Design

MetalShapes design studio takes your idea and creates a fabrication ready design with a focus on aesthetic, function and durability.

We use our knowledge of advanced fabrication techniques, methods of assembly, and high quality materials to deliver innovative designs.

We keep you involved as we move along, ensuring the final design is precisely to your liking.

Areas of work include civic art, furniture, artistic dimensional signage, street and park amenities, and architectural details.

Custom Fabrication

Our fabrication team has been working metal in Saskatoon since 1985.

Our designers and fabricators have decades of combined experience with a wide range of processes and techniques in steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and wood. In a seamless process from concept to completion, we build value, function, and beauty into every project.

We have standard designs available to jump start your project in outdoor furniture, signage, tree grates, specialty commercial furniture, benches and tables, bike racks and decorative accessories.

While we have worked larger, and we can do smaller, our ideal project scope is from $2K to $250K in value. Smaller projects are handled through our metal processing shop.

Metal Processing

We are your one stop fabrication shop for industrial projects.

With a 30 year history in design and manufacturing metal products, we are skilled in the use of advanced fabricating technologies including laser cutting, waterjet cutting, CNC routering and machining, CNC bending, welding, grinding, sanding, and finishing.

Our fully modern 14,000 sq ft facility is packed with the best fabricating equipment available today. We can assist you with your projects large and small.
