Since its formation in 1962, Metals Testing Company (MTC) has been providing high quality facility/laboratory based Nondestructive Testing Services for both commercial and military applications. Markets that we serve range from commercial and military aircraft and aerospace to power generation and medical industries. No job is too large or too small to accommodate.In 1980, MTC was sold and retained its name via Delisle Inc doing business as (dba) Metals Testing Company. That same family based owner and leadership continues today.With a workforce of approximately 70 people, we process over 125 jobs per day, each job consisting of 1 or hundreds pieces of a given part number. In the last 8 years, we have processed over 26,000 active part numbers!

• We are an independent inspection facility that has amassed the following unique capabilities that are at our customers’ disposal:
• We have the complete range of in-house capabilities from metal etch to FPI, MPI, and C-Scan UT. Once parts are delivered to our facility for NDT services, they stay at our facility the entire time as opposed to being sent out to accomplish an intermediary NDT step.
• Hand-in-hand with being able to accomplish everything in-house, we eliminate intermediate transit time loss as well as dependence on a third party to meet critical schedules. We are staffed and equipped to handle your emergencies. We also have a single point decision maker (i.e., 1 combined owner and president) that can make schedule promises and immediately implement them.
• One of our technology strengths is a complete in-house Blue Etch Anodize capability to serve the demands of the titanium industry. With regard to aircraft engine manufacturers, we are one of the few approved independent laboratories in the world that is certified to perform BEA inspections.
• Another unique technological advantage we have is an in-house developed complex contour following motion control system associated with our UT immersion tanks. This capability has been integrated with an IntraSpect UT advanced C-Scan imaging system. It resulted in the first system in the world capable and approved to inspect advanced fan blade bond lines outside the walls of the engine OEM.
• Back in 1990, we moved into a new 12,000 ft2 facility – custom designed and built to specifically meet the needs of our NDT laboratory inspection service business. Since that time, we have grown and expanded three times to become a 38,500 ft2 (3,600 m2) facility.
