MetalsDepot, the retail division of Ledford Steel Company was established in 1999 to fill the ever-growing need of a reliable "Small Quantity Metals" supplier throughout the United States. Our concentration is to provide a wide selection of metal, in smaller quantities, with no minimum orders, and fast shipping. In 1999 we also created MetalsDepot.com to simplify and speed the ordering process, and to make our products available to a larger audience. Over the years our distribution has grown to over 160,000 customers worldwide.

Purpose

Most all metals suppliers have minimum orders, minimum quantities, and charge exorbant fees to cut material to size. Not at Metals Depot! We welcome orders of all sizes and will gladly cut to length, with no minimums and a minimal fee for cutting. You buy only what you need. We strive to satisfy all customers' requests and make resourcing for their projects as simple as possible.

History

Incorporated in 1981, Elco Inc. dba Ledford Steel Company, began operations as a metals service center filling the demand for a metals supplier to serve industries and the small quantity buyers. From 1971 to 1981 Elco provided services to oil and gas, pipeline, and manufacturing industries. After over thirty years of supplying customers' needs, we continue to experience steady growth, from shipping metals throughout Kentucky on our own fleet of trucks to shipping around the world.
