History

METAL-FAB was established in 1986. The current ownership group purchased the company in 2000. META-FAB's office and shop are located on a 4 acre lot just outside of the city limits of Calgary Alberta.

Awards

The Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) has named the City of Calgary’s state-of-the art Water Centre as the 2009 Award Of Excellence architectural design award winner. METAL-FAB INDUSTRIES supplied and installed the structural steel for this project. The building is over 140,000 sq ft and is a model of green building strategies in North America.
