Company

Menten Metaal VOF in Sittard has been an established wholesaler in Ferro since 1970 and non-ferrous metals.

The Metal Company was founded in 1970 by Mr. H. Menten.

The Metal Company which had a modest image in the early 1970s with a small shipyard and clientele quickly gained a good status for metal and old buy and sell iron.

In the course of the 70s and 80s, Mr. H Menten has a lot of knowledge and experience gained this trade, which made business run very well.

The clientele kept growing and the metal company quickly became a household name the region and became an important item in the recycling industry. the yard also got a facelift because it got a piece of land where it business needed.

In the 1990s, the company made great strides nationally and internationally to be active.

Mr. H Menten his son in the picture W Menten who would like one wants to contribute to the company, despite his young age '21', he quickly mastered the skills and joined his father in the company.

Together they went for it to put the company even better on the map and made of the company ao a BV formerly known as VOF, Modernizing it company was once again in the planning. but unfortunately due to health problems of Mr. H Menten they could did not pursue the plans together and Mr. W Menten unfortunately only for it in the late 90's '' took the health problems of Mr. H Menten so that it was no longer a matter of being a fixed value in the company. Still, things went well and in 1998-1999 '' came the Modernization of the company's yard was given an impervious floor.

Mr. H. Menten Died 12-01-2002 + at an age of 55 years old. Mr W Menten Director of Menten Metaal BV Until now has a company which is still experiencing enormous growth Amongst others is Menten Metaal BV NIWO Certified and member of MRF (Metal Recycling Federation) since 2006 Since 2009, Menten Metaal BV has undertaken an enormous expansion, including the yard here is a large part of a large storage hall and a piece of land what it yard now doubles in space.

A new weighbridge 50T, new cranes, trucks, forklifts, a hall, etc .. All this contributes to the modernization of the company. In short, “Ready for the future!”.
